1. What Are Ultimates?
Ultimates are Super-Moves activated by hitting P+K+G+E in Hyper Mode, activated with
the aforementioned combo. Ultimates, in most cases, are extremely powerful. They
often deal about 2500-3000 damage. They also take awhile to finish.
During the Ultimate, a gauge will appear at the bottom of the screen. I call this the
‘Ultimate Struggle’ gauge. In order do deal major damage, you must win the Ultimate
Struggle. This is done by watching the bottom, moving gauge fill, then pressing X, O,
Square, or Triangle at the right time. If done correctly, you can outlast your
opponent, and destroy him/her.
2. Which Characters Have One?
30 of the ‘normal’ characters have an Ultimate, Majin Vegeta has one, and 4 Fusion
characters have one.
3. Getting/Buying Ultimates
It’s relatively easy to get Ultimates- some of them, anyway. You can get the
Ultimates for Goku, Teen Gohan, Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, Broly,
and Super Buu in their Dragon Universes (Super Buu’s in Goku or Vegeta’s DU). Fusion
characters and Majin Vegeta already start with them. As for the other 20 characters,
you have to buy them after getting 35 characters. For the DU characters, you’ll get
them through Storyline events.
The Ultimates you have to buy are 50,000 zenie- Pricey, right? Well, here are a few
ways to make that much money.
1. Play through any tournament.
2. Play through Advanced/Cell Games Tournament with a ‘Sparkling’ capsule equipped.
3. Use this method:
Play through Kid Gohan’s DU a second time. Immediately go to the Forest event near
Goku’s House at the beginning. After that, go to Central City, and fly Northwest to
find 5,000 zenie. Next, fly to the Southwest corner of the ice island for another
5,000 zenie. Then, fly to the southeasternmost island in the South City island chain
for 12,000 zenie. After that, fly to the island directly east of the world Tournament
for another 5,000 zenie. Finally, go to the SW coner of the map, and look around for
23,000 zenie. And there you go. 50,000 zenie.

Here is the complete list of Ultimates, the character that uses them, requirements,
how to get it, and what it does.
Goku
Spirit Bomb/Super Spirit Bomb/Super Dragon Fist
How To Get It: Automatically in Goku’s DU.
Form 1. Spirit Bomb
Requirements: No Super Saiyan skill set, 5 or more Ki Gauges.
Before the Ultimate Struggle: Goku will knock the opponent down. He will ask for
energy as the Sprit Bomb charges. When he throws it, the Ultimate Struggle will begin.
If The Attack Wins: Goku will force the Spirit Bomb to explode.
If The Defense Wins: The Spirit Bomb will explode, causing minimal damage.
Form 2. Super Spirit Bomb
Requirements: Super Saiyan/2 skills set, 5 or more Ki Gauges.
Before Ultimate Struggle: Same as original, but slightly bigger.
If The Attack Wins: Goku will go Super Saiyan. He will say ‘You are awesome. I can’t
wait to see what you’ll do next time. Later!’ And yell ‘HYAAAAA!’ while shooting a
Kamehameha-like blast to blow up the Spirit Bomb.
If The Defense Wins: Same as original.
Form 3: Super Dragon Fist
Requirements: Super Saiyan or higher, 5 or more Ki Gauges.
Before the Ultimate Struggle: Goku will create the Spirit Bomb, but will say ‘The
Spirit Bomb’s fading!’, and absorb the energy, turning bluish. He will then throw a
Dragon Punch, yelling ‘DRAGON FIIIIIIIST!’
If The Attack Wins: The dragon will attack the opponent.
If The Defense Wins: The dragon will miss.
Kid Goku
Super Drsgon Fist
How to get it: Buy it.
Requirements: 4 or more Ki Gauges
Before the Ultimate Struggle: K. Goku will charge a Kamehameha, and smash it into the
ground, sending him rocketing upward. He’ll prepare the punch, then throw it.
If The Attack Wins: He’ll connect, and say ‘I did it!’
If The Defense Wins: He’ll miss, and say ‘I missed!’
Kid Gohan
No Ultimate
Teen Gohan
Father-Son Kamehameha
How to get it: In his DU.
Requirements: Super Saiyan 2, 5 or more Ki Gauges
Before The Ultimate Struggle: Gohan will knock the opponent into the ground, charge a
gigantic Kamehameha, and launch it.
If The Attack Wins : Gohan will be encouraged by Goku’s words, and blast the opponent
away.
If The Defense Wins: The opponent will defend themself against the blast.
Gohan
Super Kamehameha
How To Get It: In his DU.
Requirements: Super Saiyan, 5 or more Ki Gauges
Before The Ultimate Struggle: Gohan will knock the opponent into the ground, say
‘Here Goes!’, then charge the Kamehameha and release it.
If The Attack Wins: Gohan will force the blast to destroy the opponent.
If The Defense Wins: The opponent will defend themself against the blast.
Gt. Saiyaman
Justice Pose
How To Get It: Buy it.
Requirements: 4 or more Ki Gauges
Before/During The Ultimate Struggle: Saiyaman will do a bunch of stupid poses, while
saying his motto.
If The Attack Wins: He’ll do the last pose right, draining the opponent’s Ki.
If The Defense Wins: He’ll screw up, and nothing happens.
Goten
No Ultimate
Vegeta
Big Bang Attack
How To Get It: In his DU.
Requirements: Super Saiyan, 5 or more Ki Gauges
Before The Ultimate Struggle: Vegeta, will say, ‘Take this!’ Then, while it’s
charging, he’ll say ‘Welcome ..to Super Vegeta’s..Big Bang Attack!’
If The Attack Wins: Vegeta wil create a dark energy ball while saying, “WELCOME TO
OBLIVION!’, and blow up the Big Bang Attack.
If The Defense Wins: The attack will detonate weakly, causing minimal damage.
Majin Vegeta
Final Explosion
How To Get It: Have ‘Babidi’s Mind Control’ and ‘Big Bang Attack’ set, and get
knocked down with one health gauge left.
Requirements: 7 Ki Gauges as Majin Vegeta
Before The Ultimate Struggle: Vegeta will smile twistedly, and say, ‘I’M GONNA BLOW
YOU TO BITS!’ He’ll then say, ‘FIGHT ME! WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!’, and blow himself up.
If The Attack Wins: You’ll blow your opponent to HFIL.
If The Defense Wins: You’ll blow yourself to HFIL.
